  • Needs iPad Compliance

    By clwilla (Pcmac user)

Let me first start by stating that I’ve been using this app since almost the beginning. It’s generally a wonderful app that does exactly what I want it to do. The phone app is great for what it is. That said, I use this app to do more than simply keep track of my collection, or use it when bin picking (which I actually don’t do all that often because I find it tedious and almost always completely unproductive in finding releases I’m interested in). I actually use album data in different ways. Although the phone app is great for this (I’ve stuck with this app, as opposed to any of the competing Discogs Apps, because of the ways in which it presents the data), I tend to NOT be using my phone when needing access to this data. I’m on my iPad. And on the iPad, the this app experience isn’t great. In fact, it’s pretty terrible, which means I either need to manually switch to my phone or use a browser to access album data which is inefficient and less optimal. You can’t copy paste between devices, and having to manually enter data on a different device is cumbersome at best. So I’m requesting full iPad compliance. I want to see album art on a bigger screen. Want access to data in ways that make sense on the device I most use it on. Give me a fully iPad compliant app, and this app jumps immediately to 5 stars.
  • Great - but how to get back from Discogs app?

    By Christopher Merritt (Pcmac user)

Hi - love the interface and ease of this app - but when your app sends me to the Discogs app (to check for sale items or anything else) you don’t seem to be able to toggle back to this app easily. Swiping right doesn’t work. There is no “back” button either. The only option is to hard quit out of this app to get back into that app again. How do I do this?
  • So close to perfect!

    By wesleytaylor (Pcmac user)

I love this app on my phone, but the iPad version needs some work. At the very least, there should be an option to see the full collection in full screen rather than splitting the screen with recently added.
  • Solid but could improve

    By _sgb (Pcmac user)

My biggest gripe about what is otherwise an outstanding app is that you can’t determine where in your collection a particular album is alphabetized. So, if you prefer to alphabetize your physical collection by last name, there is no way to have your digital collection in this app to correspond with that. It’d be awesome to have a “File under:” feature that lets the user determine how things are organized.
