What is Cast My Camera?
The app allows users to view live pictures taken by their iPhone/iPad's camera on their TV using a Chromecast device. Users can select either the front or back camera, set a time interval between pictures, and view the date and time displayed with each picture on the TV. The app requires both the Chromecast device and the iPhone/iPad to be connected to the same WiFi network.
1. Connect to your Chromecast device, select a camera (back or front) of your iPhone or iPad, set up a time interval (1 second to 20 minutes) between pictures and tap 'Start Capture' to begin sending live pics to your TV.
2. * To mute the camera shutter sound, please set the 'Ringer and Alerts' volume (not the regular media volume) of your iPhone/iPad to zero.
3. Your TV can be in a different room of your home, but it will receive the pictures from your iPhone/iPad's camera as long as both the Chromecast device and your iPhone/iPad are connected to the same WiFi network.
4. If you do not want to hear a camera sound with each picture, please set the 'Ringer and Alerts' volume of your iPhone/iPad to zero.
5. Disclaimer: The application runs over WiFi and can be subject to unexpected network or other issues, hence please do not rely on it for critical situations.
