Is this a background eraser or collage maker???

I was looking to erase the background on a photo and wanted to give this app a try. The app was very easy to use and quite intuitive and I easily marked out the background that I wanted to erase. BUT..., as soon as I hit the 'erase' button, instead of the background disappearing as I was expecting, it instead turned into a collage using various parts of the photo that was not marked to be erased. Confused is only the beginning of my impressions of this app.

This app hasn't worked properly since day one. the app wont erase the selected items. On the rare occasionit does work, it takes much too long to do it's job. Finally, is it really necessary to ask for my feedback on the app store after EVERY time I make, rather can't make, an adjustment to a photo.

Doesn't Work, No Documentation, Zero Support

Just an awful program, whipped together based on an inpainting algorithm. I am shocked that Apple allows such trash on the AppStore.
Click on the website link and you get a single page graphic of a giant eraser. Nothing else. Hosted on GitHub. No way to even determine who is behind this project.
What is Mode 1, Mode 2, or Mode 3? Where is the documentation?
How exact does the edge need to be around the object to be erased? How can I edit that edge?
Don't waste your precious time with this. Get a real program like Photoshop or Luminar 4
