Install SIMO : MATLAB programming app app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using SIMO on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "SIMO"
The search will reveal the SIMO : MATLAB programming app app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once SIMO is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including SIMO.
Now enjoy SIMO on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use SIMO,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "SIMO" » then Click "Install".
- SIMO : MATLAB programming app will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Missing Language Syntax - Not Full-Featured!

Within 30 seconds, I found out that I WASTED my money. This app does NOT support anonymous functions, structs, or cell arrays, which are a part of the Matlab syntax. By not supporting these language features, this app is NOT a full-featured Matlab replacement. I can forgive not having every built-in function, but advertising as full-featured but lacking critical language syntax is INCREDIBLY MISLEADING. In addition, I cannot hide the this app keyboard when using an external keyboard. It doesn't handle keyboard presses such as Enter when using the command line. You can't change the font size or swap line-wrap/line-continuation when editing text. All of these issues make using the editor and the command prompt very frustrating.

As an electrical engineering student I love the idea of being able to use matlab without the need for a desktop computer or laptop. However, for my needs, I find this app to be limited. It doesn’t have the function to find the determinant of any NxN matrix, I can’t create symbolic matrices, and it doesn’t have support for transfer functions, bode diagrams, etc. I really hope this functions are added in future updates.

This is a very powerful App! It has given me freedom from the pc for complex calculations! I am thrilled to be able to use the this app App to explore complex calculations when I have down time on the go with my iPhone or iPad. For example, using this app, I was able to create a Matlab script to calculate the precession of the orbit of Mercury and plot up the results. I was also able to do the same for the deflection of starlight by the Sun. It is just amazing to have this capability in a hand held device! Thank you for creating this app!

How do you run a program? I can edit programs, but it is not obvious how to run the program.
