1. As well as files from the most well known DTC genetic testing companies such as 23andMe or AncestryDNA, Genomapp supports raw data files with VCF format (with marker identifiers annotated) and files with a specified scheme.

2. If you had your DNA tested by genetic test providers such as 23andMe, AncestryDNA, FamilyTreeDNA (FTDNA), MyHeritage, Genes for Good, Living DNA, Geno 2.0, TellmeGen or VitaGene you have access to a file with your DNA raw data.

3. Genomapp crosses your raw data file with reliable scientific sources to obtain the maximum information about your DNA and show it in a simple way.

4. If you are tracing your ancestry through genetic testing kits you can also submit your raw data file to Genomapp to get the most out of your data.

5. Genomapp analyzes your raw data file to extract information of interest.

6. When you process your raw data file with Genomapp it associates your genotype with a list of conditions.

7. Genomapp analyzes your genetic test to give you the maximum information of your DNA protecting your privacy at every moment.

8. Genomapp's search engine allows you to search our database of more than 9500 conditions, 12400 genes and 183700 markers.

9. Currently large VCF raw data files from WES/WGS are not compatible with Genomapp.

10. Genomapp displays information of your DNA markers in a friendly and easy to understand manner.

Per Genomapp Not a DX Tool🤣

While the company clearly states the reports are not for medical diagnosis, it should be somewhat accurate, or follow through on that they are advertising. I’m not sure what testing methods they use to extract/decipher the raw dna, but I found it to be highly inAccurate! I had already had my dna tested professionally tested and had an idea of what he results should be and this test did not represent any correlating results from a professional test! The only thing I found they got correct was my blood group!🤣 Edit* while the app was prompt in its generic rebuttals (as so noted on many users who dared give a less than stellar review) along w/ it’s snarky final comment(way to keep it professional the app🤣). I still will keep to my original comment that things did not align w/ a professional gene testing & people should understsnd the app not a medical dx tool(which they state themselves...apparently I’m not allowed to say that though🙄). Maybe if I paid money into the ones they charged for, I’d see more matches but not going to be doing that after the free intro was lacked correlation. Finally, I understand blood type is not projected, I mistyped but meant the 1 “blood group” that was listed, which you do determine “blood groups” as it’s part of the free section...am I wrong?

Provided good information, but the language design only for scientists or people with knowledge of this specific terminology! Also references on sites with same terminology. I think it will be better if explained in more simple language and refer to more scientific sites! Highlights need more clearly, smiley face is clear sad face not enough so is third one, need more clear explanations for sad and crazy face, also it will be nice if we can print list for necessary tests what we could show to doctors (with language what doctors and lab workers understand), and/ or refer to other organizations what can do this tests!!! Good, but need improvements!

I have to let you know that I am thankful for the the app app, which flagged a rare genetic metabolic disease (glutaric acidemia type 1) in my 17 year old daughter. the app brought this serious health issue to our attention

So I have my raw data from my genetic testing and I wanted to see if there was more to find out after I did promethease. I’ve known since before I did the genetic testing I have two copies of the MTHFR mutation and have had issues with homocysteine levels, folate, and B6. I luckily have never had a stillbirth but I have had miscarriages, unfortunately my mother has had 2 stillborn babies, thanks to the MTHFR mutation. This app says I do not have the MTHFR mutation at all while every other app, promethease, and my doctors ALL say I have it! How erroneous can their data analysis be at the app to report this incorrectly? How dangerous is this!?
