Install Recorder Tools app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

If app could remember a variety of cropping presets and settings it would be infinitely more useful. A bit too limited as is but there will be times it comes in handy.

Why not use quicktime?

Like all of these video screen capture app, YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD SOUNDFLOWER. The problem is soundflower is a free app which is not authorized by Apple and they make it so difficult to do this simple download. So, I purchased this app - hoping to solve this problem. Guess what?….You still need to download Soundflower to make it work anyhow, which brings you back to Quicktime App. On an Ipad or Iphone with IOS11, you can cleanly record video and sound from the screen. Why can’t Apple make this quick fix?….or any of these 3rd party apps?

Not working in OS 12.6

I use this app only for screen capture without audio. It has always worked fine in OS 8.5 for that purpose--and it still does. But I can’t get to work at all on OS 12.6—it just keeps asking me to select audio even though the star is over “screen,” and “none” is selected for audio...it just won’t record anything at all.

This dandy software creates videos like no other. All sound and video are in sync. Having sync problems with iMovie? This one works like a charm.
