Download and install the Peaks USA app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Peaks USA on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Peaks USA"
- The search will reveal the Peaks USA app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Peaks USA is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Peaks USA.
- Now enjoy Peaks USA on PC.
- Using Peaks USA on Mac OS:

To get Peaks USA on Windows 11, check if there's a native Peaks USA Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Peaks USA:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Peaks USA" » Click "Install" to install Peaks USA
- Peaks USA will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Great App for Horizon Watching

I love this app. And the latest version has increased calibration capabilities that help address the “offset” issue reported is some of the other/older reviews. If you know a peak, you can align the camera with the peak and you’re all set!
I love using it to identify the app on the horizon that I can see from my house.

Gives you the names, altitudes, and distances to the app nearby. Also lets you view overhead on GPS map. Works perfect! Thanks!

Kinda Lame

The labels appear in the frame, but not necessarily over the mountains they should. They also drift. I pointed my phone at a nearby mountain and the label was off by several degrees. I attempted to use the fine adjust feature but the adjustments didn't help. The labels soon drifted away from their marks again. I think this app needs more work.

Totally useless - says there is a compass error, have done everything that is suggested to fix it and it still doesn’t work. Thought it was free but then found out I only got one state free. Paid the $2.99 to download all of the states, which was a joke because it doesn’t work at all on my iPhone 8. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!
