The Outdoors Inside Your Mac

The vistas are gorgeous and soulful. You'll want to jump right in, and there are a couple dozen to choose from. The desktop can be modified to show current weather conditions, the forecast, or just any weather event if you are feeling like Christmas in July, so while you go about your daily work grind you'll be able to know the weather (or the time) just with your peripheral vision. It won't override your Mac screensaver, but you can adjust when it comes on. the app Weather adds style and gives you useful information!
Wish I was there

First off, I’m not a big fancy Desktop fan. That said, this is a great app for giving you the time of day, your local weather forecast, and beautiful pictures of someplace else (my guess Ca), it sure isn’t where I’m at. It does not seem to impact performance with it’s animation of the screen compared to the standard Mac OS Desktop screen. So, if you want to sit back and do some California Dreaming with the Mommas and Papas, this is a great app for you.

I paid $3.99 a while ago just so the ads would be removed. As it was suggested for me to give a review, I noticed that along with paying to have the ads removed, 7 days of the week are included for seeing the weather forecast. This is not my experience. I can see the present day, and only 3 other days. Also, the live screen activity doesn’t always line up with present weather conditions. There are times when my screen shows rain, but it’s not raining outside! Or, like right now, it’s 2:54 p.m. and my screen has a scene that makes it look like the sun is setting when actually it’s bright as day right now. Not happy! :(
Glitchy but beautiful

This is a lovely app, and the screensavers are simply beautiful. However, like the other, earlier one of these I paid for (the one without screensavers), it is glitchy. Many of these are already mentioned here, but I haven't seen the one where the motion on the screensavers interferes with other things and the screensaver itself become wonky when other apps are used or used and closed. It didn't cost much, though, and I do enjoy the pictures, so I can only hope the problems will be fixed.
