Install Shazam: Identify Songs app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:

- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Shazam on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Shazam"
- The search will reveal the Shazam: Identify Songs app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Shazam is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Shazam.
- Now enjoy Shazam on PC.

✔ Pros:
- The app is easy to use and has a little icon that stays at the top edge of the laptop for quick access.
- It accurately identifies music playing in videos and provides a link to the actual piece.
- The app is as good as the phone app at identifying music.
☹ Cons:
- The app doesn't have any sync with the user's Shazam account, which is a bummer.
- Auto-Shazam doesn't pick up every single song anymore, and the user has to click it for it to find the song, which is inconvenient.
- The app doesn't sync across devices, which makes it pretty weak.
- One reviewer cannot log into Shazam in macOS, which is ridiculous in version 12.

Shazam on my desktop id’s poor recordings

It’s great, I just click on the little icon that stays at the top edge of my laptop when I want it to “listen” to id the music I’m playing in my video, captured during a class, and it not only gives me the name but a link to the actual piece.

Should sync

Is My this app supposed to sync across devices? That's not happening for me. Without that functionality, the app is pretty weak. It'll listen to music playing around you, but chances are, unless you're sitting in Starbucks, you have a good idea what music is playing in your home. Do not understand why you can log into this app in iOS and not in macOS so that the devices can sync. It's ridiculous in version 12. Sorry, ratings gone down to one star, and unless this is added should sink further.

Great standalone app, but no sync

This is a great little menu bar app that is as good as the phone app is at identifying music, but the fact that it doesn't have any sync with my this app account is a bummer. I really hope that's added sometime soon.

It works, but...

Auto-this app used to pick up every single song, and now I have to actually click it for it to find the song. It's quite inconvenient.
