What is DD-WRT?

The DD-WRT app for iOS is designed to manage and monitor DD-WRT enabled routers both locally and remotely. It provides easy access to system information, wireless settings, memory, routing tables, USB disk info, and live data such as LAN live clients, active wireless clients, daily WAN traffic graph, and active bandwidth graphs for WAN, LAN, and wireless. The app also allows users to directly change settings such as port forwarding, wireless MAC filter, DHCP release/renew, USB, and OpenVPN. Additionally, users can send commands remotely such as Wake On LAN, reboot, and command line commands. The app also features a QR code generator for quick joining of WiFi, direct links to web interface pages, and MAC filter to block devices from WiFi.

Software Features and Description

1. - Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current subscription period.

2. DD-WRT has many different versions, so if you have any problems accessing any data please get in touch using the Feedback button so we can look at adding more support.

3. - Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. - At confirmation of purchase, or following the completion of a free-trial period, payment will be charged to your iTunes account.

5. Accessing your router remotely (away from the local network) requires you to know the WAN IP address and port of your network OR to have a DDNS address setup that forwards to your network.

6. The DD-WRT app for iOS is the easy way to manage and monitor your DD-WRT enabled routers both locally and remotely.

7. - Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current subscription period.

8. Anyone that has tried using the DD-WRT web interface on an iPhone/iPod will know that some pages are impossible to navigate.

9. This DD-WRT app uses the web interface of your DD-WRT enabled router, so please make sure you have this enabled.

10. - You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase.

11. Automatic renewals will cost the same price you were originally charged for the subscription.

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "DD-WRT"
The search will reveal the DD-WRT app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once DD-WRT is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including DD-WRT.
Now enjoy DD-WRT on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use DD-WRT,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "DD-WRT" » then Click "Install".
- DD-WRT will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

DD-WRT firmware is my favorite tool. This app makes many of the features much faster to access, and seemlessly If you don’t like the price stick with the web interface. I never give 5 stars but I will to negate the 1 star reviewers that won’t pay for the full version, and thus can’t properly review the app. At least when there was a pro version, the reviews were much more appropriate as they could actually review the full product. With this versions it mixes all these cheapo people 1 star reviews in with those that have pro features. I really recommend a trial version with ads, and 15 day full access for new users. And a pro version that costs a 1 month subscription price at a 50% discount for first month.

I haven’t yet used the new app, but the old one worked well and I’m glad they have chosen to honor original supporters’ purchases in the current version.

Look, I’m all for developers making money. That’s fine. But if the business model is excessively annoying, it makes the app pointless. People who use a Dd-wrt app is trying to save time, instead of going through the web interface. I’m not watching a video every time I launch this app. Perhaps the new app trial business model would work better, but using a video ad wall for money is just plain annoying.
Must-Have App for DD-WRT

I’ve been a long time DD-WRT user and this is a must have app. No need to go on the web to log into your router. Just with this app, I can easily manage and alter anything I need right from my iPhone. Just awesome!
