  • Stopped working

    By rsstraker (Pcmac user)

I mostly use the iPhone version of this app, but fired up the Mac version today and...couldn't get it to work. Wouldn't load, so uninstalled and reinstalled. Loaded once, but couldn't get it to sync with the iOS version. Then it would just crash after that. Mojave issue?
  • iCloud sync is broken

    By ---------.. (Pcmac user)

Like most other people here, I find myself (unsurprisingly) unable to sync between OS X and iOS, despite this being a major selling point of the app. I paid $10 with the hope that I could sync FocusTime across all of my devices, and, contrary to their claim otherwise, that expectation has not been fulfilled. Adding insult to injury, clicking on “this app Support” in app store simply routes you to a website outlining how wonderful the app is. Come on, guys.
  • A love-hate relationship

    By Theyforcedmetoreviewthis (Pcmac user)

I’ll start by saying that I love this app. It’s quite a rewarding feeling to look back and see what I accomplished for the day and the pomodoro method is excellent at keeping me focused and on point. And, even better, I like this app’s interface and accessibility. However, I cannot get the apps to sync between my phone and my two computers (one work, one home). I’ve been using dropbox and have tried really everything I can think of. If I try to disable the dropbox sync and try iCloud, nothing happens. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, etc. The data is on my phone and Dropbox says it’s been updated everytime I sync from the phone. It just never makes the connection to either of my laptops. While this may seem like a small thing, it’s driving me nuts. Any suggestions/help would be much appreciated, since this app’s support page has nothing in the way of contact.
  • Sync is broken —

    By Actually Sean (Pcmac user)

I read the reviews of older versions, and saw that many people mentioned syncing was broken… and as of today, there are no reviews for the new version posted earlier this month, and the update notes mentioned they fixed syncing. I bought and installed based on that… And it turns out that syncing definitely does not work. I emailed the developer team, and they replied back pretty quickly that they had just submitted 1.2.1 to the app store and that should fix the issue. That was a couple of days ago, and an update hasnsn’t showed up, yet. I know it can sometimes take a few days for Apple to approve updates… so I’ll be checking back over the next week for when it shows up, and to see if the update actually fixes the sync problem. If it does? I’ll be editing my review and rating higher. The IOS is fantastic. But so far, the desktop version is pretty much worthless to me if it doesn’t sync with the IOS app.
