  • A Must Have App, Changed My Life!!!

    By BigKidYo (Pcmac user)

After a couple years of searching and wanting to organize my music collection, this app has single handedly helped improve my time by 85%! When I began this project a decade ago, I renamed my music files manually on the file level, and would go back into iTunes and update the file’s metadata tags again. It became such a tedious time sucking experience, this project didn’t last long. Until I came across this App recently, it solved the GAP that I desperately needed. I have tried a few other freeware Apps out there, and none of them performed to the STEALTH and SPEED AS THIS APP HAS! It never crashed, and the updates did exactly how it was supposed to perform. Within a good 2 hours of playing around and cleansing my folders, I was able to shave something that would have costed me 10 months of work (few hours every weekend) down to just 2 hours - based on the # of files and folders I was working with. I give credit where it’s due and this App thus far has been the best I’ve come across. The UE and GUI both are great, intuitive, and learning curve is minimal. I tried it out first with its freeware and withn minutes I figured out how to use it enough to be dangerous. Love this app, keep up the great work developing this app! 10/10 from me.
  • Totally Useful

    By GB-Music (Pcmac user)

I purchased this app to go along with To FLAC Converter software. It does well to edit tags and add artwork. It does a good job of adding tags from the internet but I find where I add my own tags to go along with how I orginaize my music. It is easy to add artwork, and tags for any attributes that you need to change. As a feature, I would like to see the ability to change shortcuts as you are stuck with what is done. I use the highlight column feature the most and you have to hit 3 keys to do that function. Beyond that, it really works well. I use this to play music in my car at high res. CD’s sound to me so much better than MP3’s but FLAC files are the way to go if you want high res audio in your car. Rip to your computer with To FLAC Converter, Orginize with the this app, and copy to a memory stick for use in the car.
  • Does the job efficiently

    By TRmoviefan (Pcmac user)

I played with the free version for a few dozen music files and liked the way it worked, so I bought the “lifetime” version to get rid of the “sign up for monthly or yearly” prompt that kept coming up every few songs while loading or saving. If I hadn’t planned to do several thousand files at once, that wouldn’t have bothered me at all, so the program is usable as “free.” (Note: My laptop hard drive crashed, and my backed up music lost a lot of tags, album art, etc., and using iTunes to retag all these things is a nightmare.) Minor gripes: * It always fills “album artist” with the name of the album. I have to highlight the entire column and tell it to “revert” to blanks. Not sure if the programmers don’t know that album and album artist aren’t the same thing, but I can live with it. * I’d love to have a column for “disk #” in addition to “track #.” I have some multi-part CD collections, so “Track 1” listed four times isn’t very helpful. * It’s a minor annoyance to have to clear stuff out of “Comments” that the app puts in, but similar to “album artist” above, I can highlight the entire column and “revert.” Worth the price.
  • Great program but APP store has not seen an update in a while

    By Joe Villanova (Pcmac user)

this app is pretty good however why hasn’t the app seen an update in the Apple store in a long time? If you go to the author’s website, you see an update but they want you to pay for an incremental update that only addresses unforseen issues in this current one. There are still quite a number of unresolved bugs that still plague it. For example, when I do a large number of files in a batch, when this app begins searching for the necessary metada for an mp3, I see it constantly reporting a “could not make request, retrying again” message. Is this a bug or an actual flaw in its ability to access the major discography network servers? Again, I love T.E. however still some issues that need fixing.
