Unusable

Most of these reviews must be written by the app designers . It is complicated and not even a little user friendly, since I am not a geek. Save your money and time and stay away from this garbage app.

Mono-only... controls are NOT intuitive... needs better labelling
By Lotus McGimpy (Pcmac user)
This app was a little less easy to learn than others in this category since none of the controls are labled and there's no built-in help. Also, it's hte most basic of hte examples I installed having NO advanced editing features beyond fade-in/out. Also, it's fine so long as you only use source material that's mono or is devoid of cross-channel fades. Anything that employs a significant amount of discreet stereo separation will disappoint you! Examples of this are pretty much anything by The Beatles. Beyond that, I tried making ringtones with Kraftwerk "The Robots" from The Remix album, Styx "Born for Adventure" from the Equinox album, Jeff Beck "Diamond Dust" from the Blow by Blow album and Nickle Creek "Ode to a Butterfly" from their eponymus album. Each one of these produced an sub-standard result! Beware of other apps in this category also! I found the exact same issue with 2 others

Works
By IP Millwright (Pcmac user)
Rated 5 stars because it works (free version). I actually was able to edit and use ringtones from my music library. You have to unlock your sounds on your IPhone by going to settings > sounds > (scroll to the bottom and slide "Lock Sounds" to "OFF." Then follow the tutorial in the Help menu of the app.
