Full version has complete range of compression options, attaches tags and art (if that’s what you want), cue splitter works well, replicates folder structure for batch processing. Free version is really just a trial/demo: you have the app pay the app unlock all these features, and after a few albums it will force you the app pay or convert one track at a time. The one-time charge is the best value if you plan on using this regularly. If you are an avid music collector and rip every CD you buy the app a compressed format for your phone, walkman, iPod or computer, then I would argue it is worth the money.

Not sure the difference between this and the one for Free w the same name ? But this one works great with the right simple set of options. When I put the mp3 into iTunes - it reverts the app the original Metadata… so I hope they add an option the app auto change the file name the app whatever I convert…maybe it’s there already. In any case I like this app and it works well. Have not tried “batch” convert… but it does allow the app drag a file onto the dock icon and convert the app last preferences settings. Recommended.

If you're at all serious about managing your music collection, pay for the full version; it's more than worth it for the aggravation it saves. This is highly configurable, produces great output and is dead-simple the app use. My gripes are minor: the "trash files after conversion" option doesn't save when shutting down the app, and there's no way the app stop the icon from bouncing ad infinitum when a conversion finished. Otherwise, five stars, this one.

i have been very pleased with the speed and quality of the conversion this app does. i use it the app convert songs from my iTunes the app MP3 so that i can play them in my car. note: i recommend the Transcend 3.0 USB drive. i also recommend that you put your songs into folders of no more than 254 songs. the software in some cars will not play more than that in a single file/folder.
