What is GPX-Viewer?

The GPX-Viewer app allows users to import and view GPS eXchange format (GPX) files from various sources. Users can choose between Apple Maps, Google Maps, OpenStreetMaps, or a custom map tile source URL. The app also allows users to create and share charts, send waypoints to various map apps, and customize the color for waypoints, track points, routes, and tracks.

Software Features and Description

1. Import GPX files using iTunes file sharing, eMail, an URL, the pasteboard or from the Cloud (includes iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, your local device, etc).

2. GPX-Viewer views GPX files exported from many GPS devices and other apps that create GPX files.

3. - Send the waypoints to various map apps such as Apple and Google Maps.

4. - Choose Apple Maps, Google Maps, OpenStreetMaps, or a custom map tile source URL.

5. - Customize the color for waypoints, track points, routes and tracks.

6. - Hide or show the waypoints, track points, routes or tracks on the map.

7. Import and view GPS eXchange format (GPX) files.

8. - Preview the tracks for all files within a folder.

9. - Create folders to better organize your GPX files.

10. - Optionally disable screen auto-lock to keep the device from sleeping.

11. - Choose between metric, imperial, or nautical units of measurement.

Install GPX-Viewer app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

Using GPX-Viewer on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "GPX-Viewer"
The search will reveal the GPX-Viewer app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once GPX-Viewer is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including GPX-Viewer.
Now enjoy GPX-Viewer on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use GPX-Viewer,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "GPX-Viewer" » then Click "Install".
- GPX-Viewer will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Good interface overall

I needed something easy to view GPX files for a motorcycle route. My one complaint is that the track color is 100% opaque, so that you can’t read the name of the road you’re supposed to be following. If the track/route highlight could be either transparent or rendered behind the road labels, I’d give it 5 stars. — And now it has this feature. Well done, thank you!

I really like the app and it does most of what I’m looking for. Only problem is when I was out of cell range any area of the map that I had not zoomed in on was unavailable. Is there any way to download a complete map of the defined area for offline use?
