Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Quiver"
The search will reveal the Quiver - take better notes app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Quiver is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Quiver.

- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

Game changer for me, I use it daily

this app desktop has changed how I take notes and I love it. It’s easy to use and has great features. The help section is also good which is a must for me. The different cell types are great, I really like being able to take notes in Markdown because it makes transferring notes to GitHub or exporting as a clean PDF that much easier. I love how many languages there are to choose from. I really like the keyboard shortcuts because they help my workflow and they feel logical. Being able to store my notes in Google Drive and sync across devices is awesome and makes me feel better that my notes are stored in the cloud (which I trust more than my aging laptop). I would definitely recommend this app. I’ve used this app in student, recreational, and professional contexts and it’s great for them all. I currently work in IT support and I use this app every day to keep track of notes and things I need for my work. Highly recommend this app.

I’ve been using this app (for MacOS) daily for years. It’s just the perfect markdown-friendly notetaking environment. It’s simple, functional, and not stuffed with unneeded features. I keep journal entries in it, but also lists, logs, recipes--anything and everything. I drag images and other attachments into my notes (tip: use a text cell to hold dragged attachments) and they’re stored with the notes. I keep the this app data in Dropbox so I can use any of my macs to work with the same this app data, and the data is saved in text JSON files so if I ever need to move to something else (which I dearly hope I will not) I won't be trapped. You can make feature requests or report bugs via this app’s Github site and it’s not a black hole; the developer will get back to you. Software releases occur occasionally but it’s quite a mature product and is very stable, so, in my opinion, not much more is needed. Highly recommended!
Bugs

Bug 1: when I was trying to paste inside bullet points, sometimes it's not able to go back to the parent bullet anymore (even if I then deleted what I was trying to paste) and it compulsively indented and I was not be able to make any change of it even if I stopped using bullet point. Bug 2: when I was typing "\begin{box}something inside\end{box}" in a LaTex Cell, it showed a box (which is definitely what I wanted) but also contaning the whole thing I just quoted, which means inlcuding the "\begin{box}" and "\end{box}" and there's no way I could have a "clean" box... But I suppose this is because this app is using MathJax and MathJax does not support something like this.
Beware: There’s no way to find & REPLACE!!!!

This is a shame because the program is so nice. But I can’t believe there’s no way you can replace found words. I cannot believe a text editor would lack this function. I just wrote a very detailed, image heavy document for someone realizing I can’t change all the instances of a single word. I’ll change my review if this gets updated, otherwise this is 1 star from me. ): I can’t even get a refund through Apple’s site. I basically bought a non functional piece of software. P.S. I want to make it clear this is otherwise a very good program and I want to see it succeed. But PLEASE address the fact you cannot find or replace with this program, or make SURE potential customers know about this deficiency up front!
