1. Simple, elegant and easy to use, Provoke Camera does just one thing, produce black and white images with that gritty, grainy, blurry look reminiscent of the “Provoke” era of photography, and in two great formats; square format 126 and 35mm format 135.

2. In addition to capturing beautiful, gritty, grainy, contrasty black and white images, Provoke Camera will also allow you to import photos from your camera roll and apply any one of its “Provoke” effects.

3. Developed in collaboration with Glyn Evans [the founder of iPhoneography], Provoke Camera was inspired by Japanese photographers of the late 1960’s like Daido Moriyama, Takuma Nakahira and Yutaka Takanashi.

4. You can use Provoke Filter in Photos App.

Install Provoke Camera app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

Using Provoke Camera on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Provoke Camera"
The search will reveal the Provoke Camera app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Provoke Camera is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Provoke Camera.
Now enjoy Provoke Camera on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Provoke Camera,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Provoke Camera" » then Click "Install".
- Provoke Camera will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Good at what it aims for

When I want to be fussier about exposure, focus, WB, etc., I’ve got Filmborn, Camera1, and more I can turn to. But for certain looks—that street look from the the app movement—and capturing quickly without fussing (like when I shoot from the hip, especially), this is a blast. It does have an exposure slider you can toggle on and off, and that’s crucial for many high-contrast situations. I don’t know I’d want any other controls; it wouldn’t be the same experience. You just gotta be loose and uncontrolfreaky with this one. I use it on my iPhone 8+ and have gotten artful photos which pulse very high on 500px.
Fantastic effects in a very slow, buggy package

Wow, the B&W effects in this app are fantastic. I'd really love to give it a great review but the app is just absurdly slow on my iPhone 7 plus and very buggy. After taking a photo, no thumbnail displays so I had to tap around the screen assuming that somewhere I tap would allow me to review my pics. Once I got to them, they showed up on only half of the screen. Luckily the app saves them to the camera roll automatically. I love the effects but I can't recommend this and i'm unsure how long I will continue to use it as it is runny very poorly. I really hope that it gets updated!

As a guy that loves playing with many many Iphone camera apps I gotta say, I was blown away at the different color and B&W filters this has! I have tried all the current apps including Camera++ and this is the best camera app out at the moment! If this company makes any other camera apps I will definitely be purchasing them! Give it a try if you are on the fence! Good job guys, keep up the good work!
It is great but...

The effects are just great. However, it could be just almost perfect if one is able to be decide the amount of the effect to be added. Some photos need just a touch... I mean it lacks a way to gradually apply a effect to editing photos. that’s my complain. Also, It could be nice being able to edit or change basic things like exposition and contrast and that’s it.
