1. This app currently works in conjunction with Follett Aspen Student Information System (SIS) v5.2 or Instructional Management System (IMS) v5.2 to display push notifications generated from the desktop application.

2. Sign in with your existing Follett Aspen username and password to register your device, and you'll start receiving any notifications posted by your district, school, or classroom.

3. Receive push notifications for students, parents, teachers, and administrators from various Follett School Solutions.

4. Teachers are able to send notifications to their classes from their mobile device.

5. Within the app, you'll be able to manage your app settings and view a history of the notifications you've received.

6. Additional Follett systems will be connected as they become available.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Follett Notifications"
The search will reveal the Follett Notifications app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Follett Notifications is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Follett Notifications.
Now enjoy Follett Notifications on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Follett Notifications,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Follett Notifications" » then Click "Install".

Which is which?

Could we please separate the kids notifications? Every notification comes into the same window. If you can start by separating the kids, you can at least know which notification applies to which child for later reference. My plan is to store the notifications until the marking period closes and then clear them all out. But with everything mixed together, it is extremely difficult to access the individual information. Sorry, I’m one of THOSE parents that actually want to access the information of my kids grades and ask them questions about it!

It works really well, other than the fact that after the summer ended my grades stopped showing up, and I had to completely log out and log back in. After I logged back in I got all my notifications, and ones from last year that I now have to delete. The other issue is I can’t delete all the notifications at once, I have to go through and delete them one by one. I really wish they would fix these problems but I feel like they won’t, so I’m just writing this as a warning make sure to delete the notifications right after u read them.

The app was very good for a while. But then it just stopped working. I checked on X2 every day and there are new things there, but it didn’t add it to the app. I tried re-downloading but it just had the same notifications as the day it stopped working. And now it’s just annoying. I don’t even know why I still have it. It’s been a while since I wrote the first part and the new school year just started. There have been grades in but I don’t get any of them. I un-downloaded and re-downloaded it but it still won’t work.
Can’t even log in. Useless.

Update: October 10 Still useless. Now I am able to log in. For the log on button to appear, you need to move your ‘mouse’ from the password credential area to where they ask you to put in the school link. Now that I am in, i have a blank screen. A menu on the top right with options for setting and log out. If I click on settings I get an error message. Very inefficient app. I work for a software company that caters to schools and organizations. Both your app and website are not for ‘beginners’. You can’t talk to your customers the way you talk to each other. No enter button once I put in my credentials. Useless.
