What is Who am I? Discover Wildlife? The "See animals differently" app is a fun and educational quiz game that helps children learn about different animals in a playful way. The app features over 150 tasks that teach children about the individual characteristics of animals through cutouts, special features, tracks, and characteristic fur patterns. The app is designed for children who do not yet know how to read, as the tasks and animal names are read out loud by a child. The app encourages children to read out loud themselves and can be used at their own pace. There is no time limit or loss, and a sense of achievement is attained quickly while concentration is encouraged.
1. Not so easy ... Is a leopard striped or dotted? The children can drag each pattern to the animal and see how the animal looks with the selceted color of a fur coat.
2. Nevertheless, the animal illustrations and common names encourage children to read out loud themselves.
3. For this app the ability to read is not required - the tasks and animal names are read out loud by a child.
4. Children learn to recognize the tracks and assign them to a specific animal.
5. Recognize the animal by their eyes and a striking feature - abstract thinking and imagination is encouraged and supported.
6. Each animal that has been found appears in color in an individual album – "Your Wildlife".
7. In over 150 tasks the individual characteristics of the animals can be learned and taught to children in a playful way.
8. There are five individual features of an animal to be looked out for.
9. The child learns where the animal lives and what sound it makes.
10. Of course it is also fun to use the app with multiple friends and to consider together the right answer to the animal in question.
