Install Sparkle - Cross-Synthesis app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Sparkle on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Sparkle"
- The search will reveal the Sparkle - Cross-Synthesis app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Sparkle is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Sparkle.
- Now enjoy Sparkle on PC.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Sparkle,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Sparkle" » then Click "Install".
- Sparkle - Cross-Synthesis will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Amazing

This app is incredible as everything ApeSoft is.
However I am very conflicted by the fact that I found this listed as AUv3, particularly stating some multi-instancing improvements on one of the most recent updates.
I cannot find it on any of my apps as an AUv3, and unfortunately I’ve left behind the days of using inter app audio or AudioBus audio a while ago.
Unfortunately I can’t see myself using this too much unless it gets AUv3 support.
Will AUv3 support ever come? Hopefully you can let me know: I find it weird that this is the only app from ApeSoft that I have that does NOT support AUv3.
I hope it does soon, as otherwise regardless of how amazing this tool is, it will just deviate me a lot from my workflow which is why I doubt I’ll have much use for it.
It does make some crazy amazing sounds though, if you’re not super keen or fixated on AUv3 support this is obviously something you will enjoy (if you know what it does, ofc).

Another Great from the Ape

I own all but one app from this company and I've yet to be disappointed. I love sound design and do a good amount of work using modular synths. I rarely ever use the iPad or apps to make music but Ape Soft has some well thought out apps that are truly top notch. The sounds that com out of this app are absolutely stunning in. This is a dream for sound design and experimentation. I dump my own samples into it and toy around and usually come out with more great sounding samples. Amazing.

For sound design this is amazing and unique. If you like creating and experimenting, tinkering around with sounds you can't go wrong with this app. Just like it says " creates high-quality sound transformations. The more you play with this the more you'll see you can do and the more valuable a tool you'll realize it is. Beautiful job they've done on this app.

Gonna take some time to learn. Different. I haven't heard anything like. Use your own sample or tune up to 320 secs and mix the two (Hybridization). Lots of control and FX. Got very good results just messing around.
