Freezes when trying to convert PDF

I have tried this on multiple files and every time when I'm asked for the language the app freezes and requires a restart.

This app, in my opinion, is the holy grail. The task of finding a stand alone software to covert pdf images in to text has been an issue in my life for many years. This app takes my 100+ page pdf files, and does exactly what I want: makes them in to searchable, coherent text files that keeping the integrity of the original document. I am in love and at peace. I enjoy the music and aesthetic choices as well, they are fun and show real humility in the task. Some of the text could be cleaner, but I look forward to this app long term. It is Legend.
it doesn't allow to choose language

please fix this problem. it freeze up when language choice comes up. it doesn't start any other functions after that.
