Download and install the OpticText: Text OCR Scanner + Offline Translator app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

It's ok and it does the job for $1.99. Just some bugs on reading text sometimes.
Waste of money

Using this app for Japanese Translation. Can't even recognize a simple kanji, couldnt even translate a simple sentence. When on offline, it can't translate the whole sentence or phrase. You will have a hard time touching on each word to get the meaning, but still it can't detect a whole word for translation. ITS REALLY A WASTE OF MONEY. Make sure that your app can really translate offline if it really can. You still need to be online to use translation. LIARS!!!! I WONDER WHY APPLE ALLOW BUSINESS MODEL LIARS!!!!

I tried this for a little while but got inaccurate results every time, sometimes no results, and OCR took a very long time. I was thinking that it would be faster for me to just transcribe the text. I then bought Pixter and the results were night and day, with Pixter being both much faster and accurate.

scanned a very clear text on light background as the last attempt of many failed attempts and it only translated from Polish to Polish instead of Polish to English. I would like my purchase price returned
