Software Features and Description

1. National Weather Service (NWS) Alerts are emergency messages sent by authorized government alerting authorities through your mobile carrier.

2. America’s wireless industry is helping to build a Weather-Ready Nation through a nationwide emergency alert system, which will warn you when weather threatens.

3. Government partners include local and state public safety agencies, FEMA, the FCC, the Department of Homeland Security, and the National Weather Service.

4. Imagine this: You’re driving down the highway, humming along to your favorite tunes, when the cell phone stowed in your bag suddenly makes a strange noise.

5. With NWS Alert, alerts can be sent to your mobile device when you may be in harm's way.

6. Good thing you did: Your phone just alerted you to a tornado a few miles away in same county you’re driving through.

7. Alerts received at the right time can help keep you safe during an emergency.

8. The NWS Alert message will typically show the type and time of the alert, any action you should take, and the agency issuing the alert.

9. The alerts will also provide GPS and map for detail guide .

10. To investigate, you take the next exit and safely pull over to check the screen.

11. Sound plausible? It is.

Top Pcmac Reviews

  • App review not a good app

    By Conner 1/51 (Pcmac user)

This would be a great app if it only worked either fix it or take it off of the App Store I have tried downloading it two three times in the last few months and I have never gotten any results
  • Junk App!

    By 1hsu36ge (Pcmac user)

I would call it click bait, but it doesn't go anywhere. Opens a picture and, like the lighthouse on the screen, freezes solid. Probably downloads you contact list or something.
  • Doesn’t even work

    By TheOneBruh (Pcmac user)

The app shows a picture of a tornado, a message that says “no internet” and then crashes. It doesn’t even work.
  • Severe app lameness warning

    By Superpod wow (Pcmac user)

This seems like a fairly simple concept to implement, so the fact that the ui was impenetrable and the layout clunky was a surprise. Then the app froze. And I deleted the app. Wot a bummer.
