Software Features and Description

1. The iBobber app in conjunction with the iBobber bobber (sold separately) enables you to locate fish up to 135’ under water, GPS Tag favorite hotspots, map the contour o waterbeds, and measure water temperature.

2. It syncs via Bluetooth® Smart (Bluetooth Low Energy Technology) with your iOS device up to 100’ away from a boat, shore, kayak, or pier, so you have a fishfinder with a solid connection, that won't deplete your phone's battery like wi-fi does, a fishfinder that goes up to 8hrs on a charge, that's half the size and weight— a fishfinder that’s as mobile as you are.

3. Just cast the bobber (sold separately) and Ping! the iBobber app syncs via Bluetooth Smart and displays where the fish are.

4. You’ll also love the Lunar Calendar, Fish Alarm, Strike Alarm, Bobber Beacon, Weather sync, and the app’s stunning graphics.

5. iBobber weather is GPS based and provides current temperature, estimated high and low temperature for the day, the percentage chance of rain, wind speed and what direction it's blowing in from, as well as the barometric pressure.

6. Bluetooth Smart is designed for short messages from nearby devices such as temperature sensors, proximity sensors, and medical devices such as heart monitors, and now sonar signals.

7. Even if you have a boat-mounted fishfinder, iBobber can free you from seeing fish only under your boat.

8. Just cast, tap Begin, get ready to a count of 5, then reel the iBobber over the area to map, tap Stop, and have a look at the waterbed map, and see the contours of the bottom (up to 135' deep).

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using iBobber on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "iBobber"
The search will reveal the iBobber app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once iBobber is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including iBobber.
Now enjoy iBobber on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use iBobber,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "iBobber" » then Click "Install".
- iBobber will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Easy to use

I fish from a fishing well which is basically a house out in the middle of the lake so my this app is never more than 25 feet from my iPhone. The connection has always been good and I have been very pleased with its performance. Battery life appears to be greater than the ten hours advertised on the box. However the iPhone blue tooth connection uses up lots of phone battery so I suggest having a way to charge your phone on extended trips. The this app ease of use is an important feature which allows me to fish without a lot of setup. I have a Garmin Striker 4 which really isn’t designed to be portable and requires a lot of setup whenever I go fishing. Fishing from a stationary location I have not had the need to test the mapping feature. Overall I recommend the this app
It does its job

The this app does its job. I’ve found interesting features around my local fishing spot. The mapping feature works really well but the connection is often weak when using the sonar function. I suppose I don’t bring it back quick like when mapping. I still go 4 stars because I can see more from the shore now and move from bad spots and find better ones with cover. I does the job. 1 suggestion for the fish alarm is “1 ping only please” until a new fish comes on the screen. If you get my 1 ping reference I’ll go 5 stars.
Display issues iPhone X?

This app doesn’t completely fill the screen. I see the half icons at the top and now I see where you can tap and drag them down but it looks off. I don’t know what else to say. The app appears to need some polish. I’ll come back after I’ve learned the app and used the this app a few times to change my rating if it needed. I’m excited to try it out. I bought the pulse version. Hope it was worth the extra.

I previously gave a pretty bad review of the app. I amended it to an ok review of the app when real sonar contacted me and replaced my this app and things worked again. The latest app appears to have resolved all the issues I had with the first this app and now have two of them! Way to go real sonar! Awesome product. Awesome app. Awesome company to deal with when things go awry. A+++ would recommend. Good job guys!
