1. The stress is calculated using classical finite element method at the engineering HPC (High Performance Computing) cluster at the University of Oklahoma.

2. The user can modify the cross section and specify both the shear modulus (G) and the applied torque.

3. The torsion HPC app calculates the torsional stress and angle of twist for a solid bar.

4. Since the calculations are not done on the local iPad or iPhone, the solution is completed in seconds.

5. The user can set the level of accuracy up to 230,000 degree of freedom.

6. The app requires network connection so the app can communicate with the HPC server.

Install Torsion HPC app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Torsion HPC on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Torsion HPC"
The search will reveal the Torsion HPC app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Torsion HPC is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Torsion HPC.
Now enjoy Torsion HPC on PC.
