Install ColorTRUE app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using ColorTRUE on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "ColorTRUE"
The search will reveal the ColorTRUE app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once ColorTRUE is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including ColorTRUE.
Now enjoy ColorTRUE on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use ColorTRUE,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "ColorTRUE" » then Click "Install".
- ColorTRUE will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Does not deserve the bad rap it gets in some of these reviews

What this app does that is wonderful, it preserves the shadow detail you work so hard to maintain in lightroom. It also preserves subtle colors and details that would disappear. What I found so frustrating with the apple photo viewer was how it blocked up the shadows, added contrast and changed the subtleties of the photo, I would have to go back into Lightroom and change it till it looked good on my ipad pro which is my primary . What I HATE is the menu bar that won’t go away in the gallery. This program is designed for perfectionists, yet they run the date and battery % thru the picture when in portrait mode. Its just a distraction in landscape mode. What are you thinking about???
Needs an update BADLY!

I had hoped this app would perhaps make a deal with Adobe and get its features incorporated into Adobe Lightroom mobile. They seemed to have an initiative of getting accurate color into other apps. But now it's currently October 8th, 2016 and it hasn't been updated since 2015. What happened X-Rite? Did you lose interest? It was a cool idea once. And now we have raw photo capture capability within iOS 10, we need accurate color more than ever! Well here we are. I have calibrated my iPhone 6s+ with a Colormunki Display module but it doesn't work. Everything gets a horrible yellow cast when I use it now. Totally useless. Please update, maybe partner with some popular editing apps like Adobe Lightroom, Enlight, Snapseed, or others. I would love to use this now that my phones camera can edit raw. But as long as it no longer is capable of doing what it intends to do, it only 1 star.
Don't bother

Don't bother with this app. The i1 Display Pro is the best in the business and is a must with desktop monitors, especially if your workflow spans multiple users and displays, but it's completely unnecessary on the iPad. Apple already does a superb job with factory calibration on the iOS displays. Check out some of the sites that do advanced testing on displays and you'll see the results are fantastic. Apple is nailing color accuracy. Additionally, the iPad uses TrueTone technology which adapts the display color to match the ambient environmental lighting. I swear, once you've used it, it's so hard to go back to a display without it. You end up with much better, much more accurate color showing your images with the iPad's native calibration than you do with an i1 calibration. The i1 calibration looks much worse by comparison. I profiled it once then trashed the app. In conversations with an X-rite rep he admitted as much, and called it a "marketing bullet point to match what Spyder was offering." Oh, and to the guy switching to the surface for better color? LOL, good luck!
Endless loop; worthless

Using it is rather straightforward: Open the software on your PC, open the app in your iPhone, select your PC from within the app, and place the i1 on top of the iPhone following the figure on screen. Good and easy... it it worked. The software enters calibration and never leaves. Keeps restarting every 2-3 minutes. Left for over an hour and nothing. Put inside a large carton box (to ensure light isolation) and nothing. I1 worked fine with my projector and LCD screens, but for my phone it was an absolute waste of time and money.
