The app is called PRIVATE WiFi and is designed for AOL Advantage Plan members who have a valid myBenefits subscription with AOL and the plan must include PRIVATE WiFi as a benefit. The app provides secure and private internet access to its users. Non-AOL users can also purchase a subscription from within the app.

2. ACCESS subscribers need to register with their AOL email address.

3. AOL customers can go to mybenefits.aol.com page to review their benefits.

4. All other users may purchase a subscription from within the app.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Private WiFi,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Private WiFi" » then Click "Install".

Private WiFi™ Mobile for AOL functions

- Provides secure and private internet access

- Available for AOL Advantage Plan members with a valid myBenefits subscription with AOL

- Non-AOL users can purchase a subscription from within the app

- Two auto-renewable subscription types available for non-AOL users: monthly subscription for $2.99 and annual subscription for $29.99

- Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase

- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period

- Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal

- Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase

- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable

- Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are available for users to review.

This all downloaded and worked like a charm! Goes on automatically. I’ve been reading a lot lately about Wi-Fi hotspots and Heather not so safe so I really wanted to get something for my phone and laptop.

The app had worked adequately, but AOL discontinued the service. Now that it’s again supported by AOL, I have made countless attempts to reactivate. AOL customer support did not succeed, and never followed up. I no longer desire AOL, but will retain the service until I can archive my email history

Worked great for about a week and then stopped. Email customer support, they got right back to me with some things to try. Still doesn't work. Love the idea if it worked
