If you want to install and use the ProCam 6 app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type ProCam 6 in the search bar and press Search. Click on ProCam 6 application icon. A window of ProCam 6 on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use this app for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

Download on Andriod, Iphone

It’s crazy how the app “CameraPixels” another premium - similar to yours - camera app has focus bracketing AND bracketing in general for HDR photo taking, up to 15 photos of different exposures. Why does this - you - advertise as the best, but seem have zero intention to implement these features. Also camera pixels has the ability to LOCK the shutter speed in video to achieve and actual 180 shutter angle when recording video. Allowing ISO to change dynamically and extremely fast. You - ProcCam 4, and 5 - only allow the user to set the shutter Manuel - in video -to achieve the desired shutter angle, even worse the iso can’t be set to AUTO when shutter speed is in Manuel - in video mode -. So when recording, this desired setup only allows the user to change iso Manuel. Creating pretty UN-Smooth exposition change / gradation when recording. Also, please implement a more Manuel long exposure, instead of always blowing iso outa wack when detecting a really dark scene. AND PLEASE ALLOW 4K MAX video to be uploaded to google drive / similar services when pressing that share button.

Awesome for capturing doccuments, but the OCR doesn’t do very good for store receipts. I’m guessing that the latest iPhone doesn’t have the power to do very good OCR on small text that isn’t crisp. But I did get a little better results by making the receipt text a little larger. I took three 5 foot high filing cabinets and used it to copy all of the documents, and moved them into folders (albums) in my Photos folder, and it’s all backed up on the iCloud for a couple bucks per month, with an additional backup on a 512G USB memory stick. Then I tossed the filing cabinet in the trash :) If I ever need to alter one, this app allows moving it back and doing an OCR. I spent 20 years designing databases, so I am also creating a database app that is 100 times better than the iPhone Photos app, with the ability to use multiple folder levels and naming and searching capability for the picture documents. So I will be moving all of the documents to the database when I am done. The bottom line is that I love this ScannerPro app.
  • Best camera app ever!

    By Kevinobie1
I was hesitant to buy a camera app since there are several really great free ones, but this one is so worth the small amount of money! Love this app so much! Professional features, in-app editing of photos and videos (yes, videos!) with filters or manual editing, RAW and other formats, zooming for both photos and videos (yes, video zoom!), real time sound meter for videoing, overexposure indicator, online user manual that explains things easily even for beginners, so many things, so much more! I’d put this app up against any other camera app! Until iPhones come out with movable a aperture, this app is the next best thing and makes the absolute most of what the iPhone can do. I get compliments all the time about my photos, and when people borrow my phone to take a photo for me, they immediately comment on how much better it is than their own app. You can tell such a difference! Again, it’s totally worth getting this app! I can’t say enough good things about it!
  • Not a fan

    By Fios1715
The interface is overwhelming and often the tips don't make sense or maybe are wrong? For example it says push the AE-L button but I see no such button on the interface. This happened with most functions and a few "buttons" the app said to push but I didn't see them. After 5 minutes of use I requested a refund. You really have to be into fussing with settings to use this type of app over the standard stock camera. At end of the day the hardware is still the same. This app doesn't make such a difference it's worth the hassle (and likely missing your shot due to it being slower cause your messing with all these settings) over just point and shoot when using a smartphone camera. I gave it 3 stars because folks seem to enjoy it who read all the manuals and tutorials on how to use it. But honestly the popup tips need work and accuracy. how about a starter screen that circles all these "buttons" or have the popup tips highlight these invisible buttons.

  • Slow shutter has no iso control option

    By Nuhin Efa
I liked everything off this awesome app except slow shutter. Developer need to update slow shutter iso options and white balance and other options - like normal camera of this app. I'm very disappointed for this. If you develop this then I hope it will be complete app.
  • Native Camera App Takes Better Pictures!

    By P. Tree
I am very disappointed by this pseudo "ProCam" app. As an amateur photographer avidly familiar with aperture, focus, exposure/shutter speed, and white balance, I was excited to test this camera app. The app promised professional results with control over all these things. My intent was to push the app to its limits by taking starlight pictures with my iPhone XS max. Amazingly, it almost never made it out of my house... First thing I noticed, the app has the hardest time focusing. I took a picture of a water bottle 2 feet away and looked at the image. The text was so blurry I couldn't distinguish the letters. To be fair I attempted manual focus. After "focusing" and taking another picture, the text was still blurry! I tried this process many more times and never managed to take a clear picture. However, when I opened Apple's native camera app, I took a clear and perfectly focused picture in just 2 seconds!!! What on Earth is wrong with this app's ability to focus?! Second thing I noticed is this app's inability to actually control exposure time and length. Using the "Slow Shutter" mode seemed promising since it offered up to 30 second exposures. Problem is it gives you no control over aperture, ISO, or focus... So it's completely useless. I couldn't take any halfway decent pictures of stars (no problems doing this with a different app mentioned below), horizon sun scenes, or anything that's low-light. "Slow Shutter" also didn't offer to take the image as RAW which was another huge negative for me. So I attempted a different mode to take my night shots. "Night Mode" seemed promising. But immediately I was disappointed to realize it only offered up to 1 second exposure times. Another completely useless mode!!! It seems this app has a lot of bells and whistles but it just doesn't offer any decent ability to focus your image or properly control exposure for RAW nighttime images of stars and twilight scenes. If the producer would fix the focus problems, offer RAW on the "Slow Shutter" mode, and allow manual control of aperture, ISO, white balance, and focus in "Slow Shutter," it would be a far better product. Unfortunately, I have to say this app is a whole lot of nothing. After all, the native camera app takes far better pictures and far more quickly! Why pay for an app when Apple already gave you something better? If you're looking for a good night-time camera, I've found "Night Cap" camera does a good job and definitely blows "ProCam" outta the water.
  • My go-to camera app

    By markwduns
I’ve been using ProCam for so long, I downloaded it because it was a free download from Starbucks. I’ve completely ditched the native iPhone camera app in that time. I love the manual controls, the different aspect ratios, and that they allow us to add copyright information into the metadata of the images we shoot (I’ve tried other camera apps, and ProCam 6 is the only one I’ve come across that allows that).

  • 💖My Stained 50 Yr. Old Doll💖

I needed to get great photos of my "Precious" Uneeda #28 Multi-Jointed Doll! Somehow she obtained a few ink spots, probably from a Xeroxed paper. I was shocked & so sad I "could not" remove them w/gentle soap & water. I had 😂an idea too try those "Mr. Clean Eraser Squares" & they so far are working AWESOME!! Thanks Mr. clean! • I must be stupid

    By Notapaidreviewer
I redownload this app hoping the developers will improve it. But no. It's terribly unintuitive and complex to use. Controls are confusing. There's no colour temperature per se just AWB which is awful. I have to use another editor app to correct the white balance. I went into 3D mode and I tried to cancel saving the pic. The app essentially freezes or Iocks up. I have to uninstsll the app and reinstall it. Using XS Max. I'm done with this app. Good riddance. The positive reviews are very suspicious. PS. Apple's official response regarding apps shutting down on their own is you should never need to close your apps. RAM Issues are untrue. Rather, it's poor app design.
