I’ve had both the app and then this app for around a year and I can say I have been extremely satisfied with the app, no problems once set up properly! I can say at first I had a heck of a time getting everything set up correctly and running but once I did, it’s been awesome and the the app app is even better than the original, as it allows me to check back throughout any 24 hour period of time on my SD card in the cam. I’d like to add that the camera I purchased to specifically work with the app is freaking AWESOME especially for the price!! Can’t be beat at all anywhere, HD video crystal clear with sound, intercom and 360* degrees of available viewing area at the touch of a control button, also I love the voice control now offered to control the viewing area it’s really cool to say left right up down etc and automatically the software recognizes my voice and executes the command. I’ve definitely been a happy customer and think the negative reviews are probably from incorrect setup or incompatible camera etc, give it a try and I think you will be as enthusiastic about it as me. Thanks to the developers! The only downside to me is the confusion about how to get the v-coins and cards for the cloud service of theirs...I’m using an sd card and happy with it, but would like to give it a try sometime and be able to check back further than 24-48 hours for constant recording and see what occurred

The camera we bought is semi-functional. It has a slot for a MiniSD card but it won't recognize any of the five cards we inserted. The camera goes online and offline at random. Every time it goes offline we have to dismount it and set it up from scratch. As for the app, when we eventually add the camera it partially works but with some extremely annoying idiosyncratic failures and missing features. It won't remember the password (meaning you have to logon manually each time you go into the app), the cloud options make no sense whatsoever, and there is NO way to contact the app developer or the camera’s manufacturer. If you're going to get a camera, pass on this one and find a system that won't aggravate you every time you try to use it...
Location settings popping

It was fine until today. All of the sudden on any screens I open the Tips pops up -“ Enable the app position service to access WiFi name...” Very annoying - I’m thinking not to use the app if I can find an alternative. Also I could not find a way to delete alerts - but it looks like they auto delete after a while. Everything else is pretty much Ok
Annoying SETTINGS pop-ups

For over a month we’ve gotten a system settings pop-up that directs us to set position services. It pops up upon opening the app and FREQUENTLY while we’re in the app, viewing devices. There’s no way (that I’ve found) to turn off this obnoxious “alert” and it’s borderline harassment at this point! Trying to get device support is a joke - everything’s in the creator’s native language which just so happens to NOT be English. The cameras are effective in viewing our baby throughout the day but this app has become extremely frustrating!
