Install House Design Pro app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using House Design Pro on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "House Design Pro"

- Easy to move objects for effective room layout
- Good for advertising rental units and getting feedback from tenants
- Some nice features for experimenting with floor plans before going to an architect
☹ Cons:
- Copying floor plans does not work
- In-menu options often do not work
- Sliders for scale are difficult to use and not accurate
- Limited object choices, such as no dining room option
- Resizing small objects can be difficult due to finger blocking dimensions
- App crashes when using undo or changing font
- Not enough door or window styles, lacking normal interior doors.

I really wish this worked

I bought this app because we are thinking about building a new home and I want to experiment with floor plans before going to an architect. There are some nice features of this app, but it has some serious flaws, and lets be honest, that’s what we all care about. If you hit the “undo” button, the app crashes. If you try and change the font, the app crashes. There aren’t nearly enough door or window styles. I mean there isn’t a single normal interior door on the app. There isn’t a pre-built washer/dryer, so I had to use a refrigerator to replicate those. There isn’t even a dishwasher icon. The limitation of the add-ons is a bit disappointing considering this is a paid version. It’s also a little frustrating that this is single level build only. I really don’t want to pay $12 for a different app, but I’m afraid with the level of detail I would like to get in to, that is my next step. I do understand that this is only a $4 app and I didn’t spend thousands on a full CAD program that I would have no idea how to use. Just wish there were more of the basics already included.

It’s a tiny bit buggy

I purchased the pro version and it gets the job done. Though it has options like copying floor plans it does not work. Often I have problems with in menu options... they just don’t work. The dimensions aren’t as accurate and they do change on you from time to time having to go back to a project and resizing everything all over again. As far as home design apps on iOS this one was the best that I could find. It will get the job done just be sure to email yourself a high res floor plan jpeg because when you come back later on to a project you will find the dimensions can be off from when you made them. Hope this helps

Good app, finicky getting windows & doors in walls

The sliders for scale are terrible, really hard to define an accurate length, as the numbers change when you move your finger. Surprising lack of objects; no DINING ROOM?? Your finger blocks the dimensions for small objects like a bedside table when resizing.
Despite these and some other aggravating things, perseverance does pay off with easy to move objects which give a real idea of how to layout a room effectively.
Worth the money for me. The 3D adds little, in my opinion. Overall, it works great for an amateur like me!

Basic but easy.

I use this to advertise rental units I own. It does have limited choices but once you get the hang of it, and with a little creativity, it’s pretty easy to whip out floor plans and give people a good idea of an apartment size and how it would look furnished. lots of good feedback from tenants.
