  • I think this is only a half-way written app

    By nutella_98 (Pcmac user)

First of all, why do I HAVE TO see the "welcome tutorial" every single time I open the app!? There's no way to turn it off. Is this a joke!? Second, the "sidebar" (or the window pane on the left, if you prefer) only displays the events for a single day - either for today by default, or another day if you select one. There's no way to scroll and see other events for other days that I've entered - just like you do in other journaling apps. Eg, if today is January 19, then the only entries you will see on the side are the entries for January 19. That's it. In order to see, for example, entries for December 23, you have to open the calendar and pick "December 23". There's no list of events separated by date you can just simply scroll through. (...you can't be serious...) The overall look and feel of the app is nice, but unfortunately the functionality just isn't there to use the app in a real world context.
  • I was disappointed.

It’s a straight forward online diary. However, there are some features they need to work out. The program deleted two of my entries when I clicked to delete a completely different entry. I also hate that you can add photos. Truthfully I wish I would of looked around a little more before paying $10 for this app. It doesn’t have enough features to be considered a $10 app. Not satisfied and hope the creators do something about it. You can always update apps and improve them so I’m hoping in the long run the $10 pay off considering I can’t return an app after paying for it :/. CREATORS please improve this. It’s not fair to those who trusted your app was going to be awesome and paid $10 when it’s lame. I would of rather paid $10 for an action journal and glue photos in.
  • You can turn off the opening “Welcome Tutorial"

    By CaputCorpusCauda (Pcmac user)

I just started using this and like what I see so far so I will rate this a 4-star with the possibility of an upgrade in ranking later. Some reviewers want to turn off the “Welcome Tutorial” that shows up when you start the program. I found this can be disabled by clicking the “Settings” icon in the upper right hand corner of the open window (three vertical lines with open circles). On the Setting bar, click the right-hand icon to the right of the gear icon. Turn off the “Show Intro On Start” button in lower left-hand corner of the “We Are Here for You” window. Voila!
  • Seems to be just what i’m looking for

    By AndyITGuy (Pcmac user)

I just downloaded the app and wrote my first entry. So far I like it. I love the simplicity and layout. It’s easy to use and looks nice. I like the minimalist look and feel. Everyone was talking about not being able to turn off the tutorial at start up but I found a way to disable it. They don’t use the Mac Preference setting like most apps but have a settings menu at the top left of the screen. Under there you will see a gear icon which has basically your info and then an icon that looks like a wheel. Under there you can turn off the tutorial at startup.
