Works but acts like spyware
By Spencer Rogers (Pcmac user)
This app works as shown in the screenshots - providing you information about any the app. However, it overrides the system to open all files in this app! Any the app that I hadn't set a default for (text the app, movie, even photos), would open in this app instead of the app it was supposed to open with (like TextEdit, QuickTime, or Preview). In addition to being incredibly annoying, there's a big privacy issue here. There's no way to be sure that this app isn't sending reports on the files you open back to their servers, and if every the app you open launches this app, then it's a big issue! The only way to fix this is to either delete the app or individually re-assign every the app type. On top of this, the app pops up ads on occasion for other apps and products. These two issues are deceiving and not as advertised. Definitely uninstalling.

Takes Control of All Files
By Tyrelius (Pcmac user)
It does what it is advertised to do, BUT… it also takes control of almost all files by default. It default associates itself to almost every the app type. Very malicious behavior. I had a bunch of custom the app associations, as well as default associations, before I installed this. Now all my Xcode files open in, half of all my video files open in it, including MP4’s, all of my Windows files types open in it. It isn’t worth the aggrivation. On top of which, every time it opens, it shows an ad for this publishers other apps. I use their memory monitor app as well, and that thing has turned into an ad also. About to uninstall both that app and this one. Well, I am uninstalling this one regardless.

This useless App stuck my Mac.
By conans (Pcmac user)
If I type something qulickly in Spotlight, this App may be opened by mistake; I don’t know why this useless App trying to open all the types of files in my Mac.
The bigest problem is this App may has a bug that will not let itself quit automatically. Not only once, when the App opened by mistake through Spotlight, I right-clicked and chose Force Quit; however, the App was not able to quit, it stucked and remain on my Docker. I was neither able to Force Quit the App(no respond), nor finding it in the Activity Monitor(I can’t find the same name); finally I have to long press the power button and reset my Mac.
I only use this App once, right after I downloaded it; so it’s totally useless.

Unforgivable Presumption
By Me, damnit. (Pcmac user)
Contrary to what others have written, it does not install itself as the default program for “all” the app types.
HOWEVER, it DOES grab default for MANY the app types, and that is a problem. No program should assume that it will be the default for any the app type without asking first. For EACH the app type for which it wants to be the default program.
This program needs to pop a dialogue box and ask permission before it grabs control of files. Period. Until then, it gets one star which is the lowest I can give it.
Update: It is now later and I am still finding new the app types this program has “grabbed”. Each time it requires going into “Get Info”, unlocking with my password, changing “Open with…” to the correct program, and closing. And even then Finder sometimes doesn’t change the icon back to the original program’s.
This thing works as claimed, but it has turned out to be more of a nuisance than it has been worth.
