Good but could use some improvements

The app has always been good enough, and the recent major update has many improvements, but it went backwards in one key area... Connection to the server. I frequently get errors saying "The network connection was lost." That never happened with the previous version. It doesn't happen enough to make it unusable, but it is annoying.
