  • Terrible.

    By badkat777 (Pcmac user)

I put in the wrong password (my bad) but the screen it took to me to give me options for resetting it or contacting customer service didn’t have a back button or a way to get back to the log in screen so I had to delete it and reinstall it once I changed my password on my computer. Fine. Great. But when I finally got in, it had my old chemistry book in there and nothing else! I was sent to the app in the first place by the “other resources” tab in my Spanish class, not much of an additional resource if the only thing there is a book from a class I’m not even in anymore. There isn’t a search feature or some other way to find my Spanish class, it’s just the chemistry textbook. And what good is that anyway? That book was the least useful thing in passing Chemistry in the first place. Reading the dang thing on my phone certainly wouldn’t have been useful either. Thanks for nothing, Pearson. For how much your textbooks are you’d think you could come up with a halfway decent app.
  • Over a year of login issue

    By Plaid11 (Pcmac user)

How is it that so many people have issues logging in on the app but clearly have access to it on the website. I am having the same issue. I have a class that is using mastering engineering and I have access to it but can’t login on this app. Why is this still a issue? I even tried using their website they provide to contact if there’s an issue logging in and it says the site has been disabled. Talk about a serious issue for such a “credible” company for education. I would stop using them if it wasn’t for my professor wanting to use it. Can’t even put a little effort into helping their customers that pay thousands of dollars over the course of their college days.
  • iPhone only

    By Ujyrctjfcfchdr (Pcmac user)

Not sure why you wouldn’t optimize an educational app for iPad but they didn’t. If you’re using an iPad you have the option of the app either only take up like a 1/3rd of the screen or stretch it so it’s super pixilated. Plus as of now the app hasn’t been updated in over a year so I doubt they’re working on fixing it With how much textbooks and MyLab codes cost it’s ridiculous they aren’t supporting this app. I’d really prefer to use this on my iPad than on my phone or computer but I guess I’m the idiot shelling out hundreds of dollars either way so who cares right ***update: I just tried to use it on my phone and it’s not even optimized for plus sized iPhone. Absolutely ridiculous. Fix your app.
  • Seriously unhelpful

    By Chaz Chazly (Pcmac user)

This app would be fantastic if the year was 2016 and a younger more enthusiastic me was studying his little heart at in Biology class. Unfortunately it’s 2018 and I’ve already failed bio twice. It would have been a more helpful app if all it did was just flash the words “enough with the keg stands, please for the love of god just open your book.” All I wanted was my A&P book on my phone but the only book it thinks I have is the book from my bio class two years ago, there’s no way to find my current book and the app is just stupid. Maybe in two years when I’m taking A&P for the fourth time I’ll be able to read my textbook on the train.
