1. The Pearson eText for Schools app allows K-12 teachers and students who view their Pearson eText titles on a computer to also access their programs in a bookshelf on iPad.

2. Students and teachers will experience many of the same features available from the web-based eText, including full-text search capabilities, a notes manager, support for multimedia content, glossaries, note sharing and many other exciting features.

3. With the Pearson eText for Schools app, book content is displayed with the highest quality fidelity to the print and online versions of the textbook.

4. Pearson eText for Schools is also the eText app of choice for users of the Pearson Custom Library when using the iPad.

5. In the eText app, when prompted to Sign In, enter a valid Pearson Username and Password.

6. Your bookshelf will display your subscribed titles.

7. Note: If you receive a message stating "Invalid Username or Password" and you've entered the information correctly, your subscribed titles may not yet be available on iPad.

Install Pearson eText for Schools app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Pearson eText on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Pearson eText"
The search will reveal the Pearson eText for Schools app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Pearson eText is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Pearson eText.
Now enjoy Pearson eText on PC.

Slow, laggy and horrible

This app is extremely slow, it takes like 5 minutes to load 1 book and takes like 1 minute to load ONE PAGE. Also, its very laggy, and crashes a lot. Lost all my Spanish notes and I got a F on my Spanish homework. Also, cannot copy and paste, and the notes feature is useless, as it basically deletes after exiting the page. Highlight feature is also hard to use, and very hard to delete. One time I accidentally made a highlight too big, and I can't delate it. Now 1 and a half page is covered with purple. Bad company, bad app. First app to delete after school is over, even worse than other textbook apps. I have tried many different textbook apps, but this one is by far the worst. If you are a teacher reading this, please DO NOT use this app. It is horrible and no one will get their work done, and it is torture for students. Please choose and alternative.
I have only one major problem

So I am in High School, and we use iPads instead of regular textbook. I honestly don’t have a problem with this app on then the fact that when I search something, it will show up on the search bar thing, but when I click the link to that page, the word or phrase that I searched for is not highlighted. I don’t want to have to spend 5 minutes looking for something. It’s precious time wasted, especially if I have an assignment due at midnight and I’m pushing the limit. Please fix this!!
Honestly why

First off, why does it need to be confirmed by the teacher in class? That in and of itself just makes problems and complicates an otherwise simple thing. Secondly, it glitches sometimes and doesn't let you use the book. Lastly, if you are scrolling down it will randomly zoom all the way into the text for no reason. I just don't understand why the app can't make their books available on iBooks or kindle where it is so much easier to read and do work off of, instead of this poorly designed garbage.

This app is absolutely amazing! I am in middle school and this app lets me use the pages of a textbook without carrying one. I have no clue about the WiFi connection because it works perfectly fine for me. If it doesn’t at school then I recommend screenshotting the pages beforehand so you have them ready at school!
