Software Features and Description

1. Track the positive and negative events in your life today, this week, or this year.

2. Why is that? Is there a common set of things that are making Tuesday's bad? Once you notice the trend, you can start thinking about how to make Tuesday better.

3. ● You can change the 'size' of the positive or negative, to reflect that all events are not equal in size.

4. You can select the events you want to share, and send them an email or text.

5. But you may have forgotten all the great things that happened on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

6. ● You can share events by selecting them (as many as you want) and tapping the share button.

7. Having this information can help you keep perspective on things, or re-celebrate victories you may have forgotten.

8. The concept is to enter the positive and negative events from your day, and see how they add up.

9. Let's say you start to notice that every Tuesday you have a tough day.

10. You might want to share how your day went with a close friend.

11. Once you know what is making you happy or unhappy, you can learn from the past, and repeat the positives and work to prevent the negatives.

  • Program great, customer service horrible

    By Swimmer-Bear (Pcmac user)

Love the program but customer service is horrible. Wrote them them to request information on importing pictures. All I wanted to know about picture function before purchasing it. Does program import the picture into the program so I can delete from my photos folder. They never contacted me. Eventually I purchased the picture function but never received information from customer service. Picture function is good but not great as it cuts off most of picture and there is no way to adjust it easily. Also, if you lose your data you lose everything as they don’t have backup
  • Excellent & unique micro-journaling app

    By BagelCouple (Pcmac user)

I love Life Charge for its clean interface, simple way to log the ups & downs of life, and look back it all. The little random notifications of positive moments are always uplifting. I've also had therapy clients use the app to track their days and gain a better understanding that their lives have very positive moments as well as the negative experiences they fear and ruminate on. One client refused to end the day in the yellow or red, and would sit down to think of more positive moments in his day!
  • Gratitude journal +

    By ButMadNNW (Pcmac user)

Just downloaded this last night, so I’m keeping that 5th star in reserve until I have more experience with the app. But after entering my first few +’s and -’s, it occurred to me that this app is like a gratitude journal, but better in that it’s more realistic. Gratitude journals ask you to focus on the positives - what are 3 or 5 things for which you’re grateful? Which is all well and good, but some days it can be very hard to think of anything. Life Charge lets you track those positives, but also acknowledges and normalizes the fact that stuff that makes us unhappy also happens. Rather than just focusing on good or bad, the app seems to be more about asking yourself, “With the good and the bad weighed and measured, was today an overall good day anyway?” And that’s a question I really need to be asking myself lately, when too many days are overshadowed by the feeling that everything's going wrong.

I really like using this app. It helps me get through my day. I would like to export my data but that option doesn't work right now.
