Select Windows version:

Install Moodle app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Moodle on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Moodle"
- The search will reveal the Moodle app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Moodle is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Moodle.
- Now enjoy Moodle on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Moodle Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Moodle,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Moodle" » then Click "Install".
- Moodle will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Beyond repair

This app -and the this app platform- overall just needs a lot of work. It’s extremely unorganized, annoying, and there always seems to be something wrong with it. I don’t understand why professors in this state won’t adopt blackboard! Why are they (we) settling for trash like this that barely works?! There’s just too many things that are wrong with this app to even think of one thing right.

Navigation

The layout on the mobile app makes navigating it pretty easy, my only complaint is that when you exit a class it asks “are you sure you want to return to dashboard?” Which I think is unnecessary. What is EXTREMELY annoying is that when I’m scrolling through my classes the app is so sensitive that it’ll open the first class I touch even though I’m scrolling. If I have to scroll to a class that I haven’t opened in a while this app will open up 3 more classes before I am able to open the one I want because it is so sensitive. I have never had this problem with any other app, and I use this app on both my iPhone and iPad so I know it’s not my devices that are the problem. It’s also VERY laggy.

I used to LOVE this app last semester. Since it updated, I HATE it!!! I don’t like how i can’t go straight to my grades. Also, i don’t like how i have to select topics. It used to just be where I could scroll through my topics. I never know which tab things are under so it’s annoying to have to try and guess which tab to select. Please change it back! I even don’t like the site page it brings me to every time i open the app. It’s just not as functional as it used to be. Don’t think i want to use this app any longer.

Easy!

This App makes it SO much easier to get to my coursework, message my teacher, and see my calendar of due dates than going through a web browser! I wish I would have downloaded this Day one of the semester. It would have saved me a lot of frustration.
