  • Why the "RUNNING" between each entry?

    By efether (Pcmac user)

It's a HP 12C emulator and it works just like an HP 12C. However, the one glaring annoyance is that it displays "Running" EVERY time it runs a calculation. I don't mean it displays it for a split second as the Intel I7 processor in my MAC crunches the number…no…it flashes "running" for 3 to 20 seconds (not a typo). EVERY TIME! It's hugely annoying, as there is no possible way the processor in my Mac is slower than the Voyager/ARM processor in the real 12C. My real HP12C is faster than this app running on a Mac with a quad-core I7 processor and 16GB of memory. Seriously?!?
  • Remember to turn it on

    By Brother Corporate (Pcmac user)

The calculator has an on/off button and ships with it turned off. I don’t know why the author decided to give it an on/off button and especially why it was shipped turned off. Copy/paste isn’t enabled, which is quite bothersome. The bond calcs I tried showed the Running status for about as long as my 12c. It would be nice if the prefrences let you turn this off. Also, the border seems a little thick.
