Install MyFord Mobile app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:

- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MyFord"

- Features to control door locks are nice
- Vehicle functions and data are good

- App frequently logs users out, which is highly annoying
- App requires agreeing to new terms of use every time it is used
- App does not remember login information despite selecting "remember me"
- Passcode and touchid features do not work
- App is not reliable and frequently fails to update
- App is not as good as the Ford Pass app and may not be worth paying for after 5 years

Should have same features as ford pass app

App is ok when it works but I rarely use it now. I was so happy when I bought my new 2017 Fusion Titanium energi because not only did I love the car but I also thought I would have the same functions on this app as the Ford pass app. I was sadly mistaken. If I would have known that before I purchased the car I probably would have looked more into the Ford Fusion Titanium like I went in to purchase. The app isn’t bad when it works but it’s not great either and after my 5 years I wouldn’t pay anything for this app, if I even keep the car that long. The “bug fix” they say was recently fixed wasn’t really fixed. Instead of the app always logging you out every time you did anything on the app now it only occasionally signs you out and the contact customer service at the 800# doesn’t show up as much. If they added the Ford pass features with the features on this app and the issues with this app weren’t at frequent as they still are after several “fixes” and updates then this app would be great. Other than that I could completely be fine without ever having this app.

New version has problems

I have been very happy with this this app until the most recent update (v3.7.22).
While the vehicle functions and data are still quite good the app makes me agree to the new terms of use every time I use it which is very annoying.
Also even though I ask it to “remember me” it doesn’t and I have to log in each time. I tried using the passcode feature which appears to do nothing and the touchid function which also seems to not work.

It use to work...

It use to work fine but now all it does is try to update and fails... I rebooted my phone with no change so I deleted the app and reinstalled it. It’s still doing the same thing.
Got an update. You would think that would fix it.... but NO! It still fails to update.
After spending hours on the phone talking to many people, they finally told me the modem in my car needed a firmware update and only the dealer could do it. I talked to my dealer and said they could only update sync for $125 even though it’s still under warranty. I had already updated Sync, so I called a different dealer and they updated the modem firmware from 1.4.1 to 1.4.4 under warranty. Now the app works fine.

Great app, when it works

I use this mostly to keep track of charging times or to check current charge level. Lately it has been randomly logging me out of the app which is highly annoying. It isn’t the fastest app but when it works I find it much more convenient than opening the car and checking readouts. The other features to control door locks are nice but I haven’t had to use them yet. I hope this app gets the attention it needs so it can become more reliable.
