1. ST-S01 can control any background MIDI enabled App on the iPad, as well as external MIDI keyboards.

2. Sequencer Mode 1 x 16 or 2 x8 steps on two different midi channels.

3. ST-S01 supports MIDI Clock, Start, Continue and Stop.

4. It features two modes with either 16 steps or two times 8 steps which are executed in parallel on two MIDI channels.

5. In MIDI clock receive mode it is possible to slow down or speed up the sequence.

Download and install the Step Sequencer app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Step Sequencer"
The search will reveal the Step Sequencer app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Step Sequencer is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Step Sequencer.
Now enjoy Step Sequencer on PC.

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Installing Step Sequencer:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Step Sequencer" » Click "Install" to install Step Sequencer

Latest version doesn't work on iPad 4 iOS7.03

I had hopes that this last release (Oct 2013) would fix some of the timing issues...steps hesitating, etc. However despite the release supposedly fixing iOS 7 issues on iPad 4, it is completely unusable. It won't get past the loading screen. Tried rebooting iPad, etc. still no joy.

Had this up and running from an alesis dock, into ableton, out to a Kenton midi to cv box and into my sh-101 with no problems. Amazing app! Add audiobus support is my only request.
