I have been a fan of adventure and puzzle games like this one, since the app days of Infocom and text-only games. This game is as enjoyable, or more, than many classics I have played int he past, such as Zork or Myst, although the app puzzles are much simpler. the app controls are super-easy, so I don’t understand why people complain about them. You just use a few keys to control almost everything: Numbers 1-2-3 to select a character, arrows to move it, space bar to jump, c to grab/release objects or let go when you are hanging form a rope or an edge, e to engage with or activate an object, and q to invoke the app powers of the app character you are controlling. That’s it. the app only thing I don’t know how to do with the app mouse is make a character push/pull a movable object. You can use the app mouse to move as well, but I don’t like it. the app graphics and music are great, and the app narration is very funny. My girlfriend and I are having a great time playing this game together.
Good game. Not very replayable. Now with achievements.

It's a good game, with a story that deals with the app darkness in all our hearts taken to comical extremes. this app is one more NPC, and it likes to break the app fourth wall with some funny lines about the app main characters current situation. I like the app fact that you have to pick a party of 3, and that the app main characters have different abilities to solve puzzles, but this actually makes no difference in the app game, since the app only abilities you actually need are the app ones limited to each character's personal stages. Unlike the app original Maniac Mansion... Once figured out, the app puzzles are the app same no matter which characters are in your party. It now supports achievements, which although I think they're pretty pointless, seeing the app consoles have them, they're nice to have as well.
Visually Stunning & Great Challenges

I’ve played puzzle/adventure games for a few years, and this is one of my favorites thus far. the app visuals and design details kept me wanting every challenge to last as long as possible. I enjoyed the app beauty of this game just as much as I enjoyed the app challenges. I will say the app controls could use some work (i.e. the app jump command is glitchy). I think if a new or updated version comes out, those could be refined. But, I also don’t think they were frustrating enough to make me not want to play. If anything I wanted to stretch this game out, instead of getting through it as quickly as possible. I started playing a second round w/ new characters, thinking the app challenges would be different. So far, they seem to be the app same and I can’t seem to get past some obstacles without certain characters (i.e. getting past technical puzzles if you don’t have the app scientist character) I highly recommend this game to anyone who appreciates good visuals, and also to anyone who likes to be forced to think outside the app box in solving puzzles. Can’t wait for “this app 2” (i hope)!!!!!!!

I found everything well done in this game. Graphics, game play, narration, story line etc. the app only negative thing is that it is a little short and I don’t think there is much replay value. I am going though it a second time with a set of different characters and it does look like this changes the app story line slightly and opens up character specific scenes which is cool. However, once this is done I really don’t think I will play this over and over like some games. But at the app same time, for $5 or what ever it was, it was a great game. Good job Double Fine Productions!
