Top Pcmac Reviews

  • good stuff

I just bought this, but the way it works so far very convenient
  • It's Worth the Money

    By Ayn Randy (Pcmac user)

I'm just learning Ruby, and their are not a lot of choices. This is good enough for my needs. The little flashlight, sound player controls and what not are extremely annoying. But all in all this a good app.
  • Why?

    By Rlqualls (Pcmac user)

Never bothered to write a review before this. This is the worst coding app I have ever used. The default 3d box transition and snowflake (!) animations slow the interface down to a crawl. I had to change so many terrible defaults before the thing was usable. But even then, I couldn't get the execute button to stop making a bell noise at max volume. Ding! Ding! Even with my iPad on mute. Maybe there was a setting to turn it off, but I didn't see one. I shouldn't have to look to begin with! Every single page wants you to "confirm" by tapping, every time, as if to make sure you really wanted to open that page. Whyyyy!? Also it appears that the ruby standard library is possibly not included or it uses 1.8. It couldn't require "benchmark" which is standard in 1.9
  • A gem in the rough

    By Wrmichael (Pcmac user)

This ruby tool is the best so far on the ipad. Menus and GUI interface need to have better translations to English and that is the only issue that i have found.
