What is Auto Sampler?

Auto Sampler is an iOS app that allows users to sample their voice, musical instruments, and ambient sound. It combines pitch detection, sound sampling, and wavetable synthesis to create a multi-timbral synth. The app can be used on any iOS device with a microphone and allows users to create a continuous palette of sound.

Software Features and Description

1. Auto Sampler combines pitch detection, sound sampling, and wavetable synthesis into easy to use app that runs on any iOS device with a microphone.

2. A polyphonic multi-timbral wavetable synthesizer resamples and blends samples into a continuous palette of sound.

3. The pitch detector assigns a pitch to each sampled sound, which is displayed on a piano keyboard as it is captured.

4. Create a multi-timbral synth by combining samples from different instruments.

5. Samples are automatically extracted from live audio through the microphone input (built-in or external).

6. A small string orchestra constructed from public domain samples is provided to get you started.

7. The synth can be played with the built-in keyboard, and from other apps via Audiobus MIDI.

8. Sample your voice, musical instruments, and ambient sound.

9. Compatible with our OASIS app for creating samples from your iTunes library.

10. Controls adjust blending, modulation, attack/decay, and other parameters.

Install Auto Sampler app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Auto Sampler"
The search will reveal the Auto Sampler app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Auto Sampler is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Auto Sampler.
Now enjoy Auto Sampler on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Auto Sampler,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Auto Sampler" » then Click "Install".
- Auto Sampler will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Hoped to use this as a vocal sampler. It DOES record voice. But any words said are unintelligible. Certainly NOT a vocoder. Samples include are sub-par. Only uses .wav file format. Waste of money for what I wanted,
Create Sample Sets

The app does a really good job of recording from the mic and assigning the samples to the appropriate key of the keyboard which you can then play or use midi. It does this all in one take with the mic. It would be really nice if you could create samples by placing the app in the output slot of Audiobus. You can load multiple sample sets to create layered sounds. Hopefully in the future there will be more ways to add samples via copy and paste.

Works with my sonic port vx for sampling things other than the headset mic. 1. Use Audiobus and play with the settings. 2. Feed autosampler some old tapes/cds/records 3. Hook up a midi keyboard and control the new sampled sounds
