Install Surface Weather app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Surface Weather on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Surface Weather"
- The search will reveal the Surface Weather app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Surface Weather is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Surface Weather.
- Now enjoy Surface Weather on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Surface Weather Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Surface Weather,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Surface Weather" » then Click "Install".
- Surface Weather will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

This app only shows weather conditions over large areas. If you zoom in to a small region it shows the same data for all areas. For example I live in Loveland, CO. Estes Park is 40 miles to the west. The wind speed is typically 20 mph higher in Estes Park. This app will show the same wind speed for both locations.
Another problem is while this app has the ability to show wind speed vectors they are so small they are virtually unreadable. If you zoom into a smaller area they are not shown at all.
This could be a real useful app if it showed data for all the weather stations out there. If I would have know about its limitations I would not have purchased it.

Not bad. Runs a little slow. Seems like it is missing a few things. By the way, your other app "Weather Wall" is absolutely the best Radar on my iPad and iPhone! Thank You
