- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Georgetown on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Georgetown"
- The search will reveal the Georgetown Mobile app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Georgetown is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Georgetown.

- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Georgetown:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.

UX is terrible

The UX (as well as UI, but that's another issue) needs to be revamped. I don't understand what's the point in having a switch between editions for different users (you should just have a single log in page that leads to a home page with different aspects). Also, when logging in, the step after it, it shouldn't be tapping the top bar to swipe...it should just bring you to a page. A one-step experience, rather than the user reading the instruction to understand. The log ins should also be stored so there shouldn't be multiple sign ins every single time. Also, the blackboard aspect doesn't work and laundry alert is another app...then why is there a button here? It should be fully integrated. I understand how they want people other than students and faculty to use it, but honestly, I think it's more likely that only students and faculty will use it. Therefore, wouldn't it make sense to do some user testing before launching this?

I'm an alum visiting campus and went to check this app out. Well thought out and would have been wonderful to have when I was attending. Great resource for events and GUTs and news and hours of our favorite food spots!
