  • always difficult to get going, hangs up on simple HTML

    By SaturdayDad (Pcmac user)

I paid for this application because I needed a the app server to be able to browse through some HTML documentation that I had on my machine. The first time I tried to use it, it worked the first time, and then it would repeatedly fail to get an IP address. The next times I tried, I had to start and stop it several times before I got it to do what I want. Finally, once I had it working, my webpages would give me errors similar to this: "This page contains the following errors: error on line 66 at column 37: Entity ‘copy’ not defined. Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.” When I looked at the line and position in question, I found some HTML that is using the entity for the copyright symbol (©). Is this thing parsing through my HTML? That’s scary. I had no problem open the same HTML file on the web browser. I wish I could get my money back.
  • Tech support?

I got an error message that the server couldn’t get the ip address, but was unable to contact tech support.
  • Great App BUT… needs some work.

    By Rodolfo (Pcmac user)

I love the app, more when Mac OS 10.8.1 has not longer the option to turn on (Easy) the web personal web server. However I cannot use the port 80, I presume because the OS is not allowing it for security reasons. So it will be perfect (*****) if the app can take care of this…
  • Does not work on MacOS 10.12.6

App does not get an IP and I get a ambiguous binding error upon launch.
