Simple & cheap, but minor bugs make it frustrating.

I like that it's simple & cheap - it gets the job done without making you think.
There are minor, weird bugs that make it very frustrating for prolonged use. It tells me I have a zero length response from my server when the body is empty and doesn't show me the response headers, which is what I want for those types of responses. I've experienced weird issues selecting and editing the request headers… sometimes it just doesn't let me edit them. One thing that's a real pain is if your server is hanging, this app becomes unresponsive and takes forever to timeout - there's no way to cancel the request.
Despite the annoyances, it's still simple and works well-enough for 3-star OK.

Basic, but good enough
By tattiaqe (Pcmac user)
I use this for debugging RESTful applications which primarily utilize POST methods. It's pretty basic, but it works for me and has been an invaluable debugging tool. You have to generate the POST string yourself, so if you don't like that you may want to look elsewhere. The request (including the URL, method, header value, and body) can be saved to a file, which is handy.

Super useful, just what I need
By danielfe (Pcmac user)
I've been using this app for what I think is about two years now. It's great. It makes it really easy to test and debug various services I'm working on.
One enhancement request: Instead of being one request per window, I wish there was a source list on the left with all of my saved requests that I could easily click through. I don't want to manage the files. Thanks!

Handy but incomplete
By John90349 (Pcmac user)
This tool is great for understanding what's going on the wire when writing and debugging an API, however it leaves me scratching my head sometimes. Frequently the app will improperly display responses that are not 200 OK. For example, a connection refused, 204 No Content, and most 400 responses all display as ((no content)), without any description, or more importantly the headers involved. I look forward to a more thorough implementation.
