What is MIDITrail?

MIDITrail is a MIDI player that offers a 3D visualization of MIDI data sets. It supports Standard MIDI File (format 0/1), CoreMIDI, and multiple MIDI ports. The app is available for Windows, macOS, and iOS. Additionally, it offers an optional feature that allows users to enjoy the VR (virtual reality) experience using cheap VR glasses for smartphones and the game controller for iPhone.

Software Features and Description

1. MIDITrail supports Standard MIDI File (format 0/1), CoreMIDI, and multiple MIDI ports.

2. Then you can transfer MIDI files using 'File Sharing'.

3. The first way is to connect MIDI interface device and external sound module.

4. You have to transfer MIDI files to your iOS device from Mac or PC.

5. Or you can add MIDI files to MIDITrail using Files App of iOS.

Install MIDITrail app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using MIDITrail on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MIDITrail"
The search will reveal the MIDITrail app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once MIDITrail is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MIDITrail.
Now enjoy MIDITrail on PC.

I love this app, but two big problems.

I love this app, but there are two big problems that annoy me.A LOT. Not enough to make me uninstall or anything, but annoying nonetheless. 1.) Multi-track recordings don't work properly and only play one track. Maybe this is because I don't have it synced up to midi, I don't know. Also a lot of times it seems very out of sync I'm multi-track. 2.) If you were to make something stupidly fast, say, 500 BPM hemidemisemiquavers, then there will be a constant pitch that plays, even when the song ends, and even in the main menu. The only way I've found to fix this is to exit the app or play a different song that isn't as fast. Fix these things and I'll be very happy!

Can you guys have something like software midi so when I play a midi file I can what it through the iPhone speaker or a headphone jack. Usb midi is still ok but I also would like what I said before
Good MIDI player but still needs improve.

To be honest, I think the this app is the best mobile midi player for me. I hope this mobile version can support more polyphony of the soundbank. Otherwise, we can hear some “gaps” when it riches the maximum polyphony.
Good but some bugs

I liked it but the in app synth didn’t work when I added the soundfont and I did the midi out thingy and It still didn’t work
