What is MIDITrail?
MIDITrail is a MIDI player that offers a 3D visualization of MIDI data sets. It supports Standard MIDI File (format 0/1), CoreMIDI, and multiple MIDI ports. The app is available for Windows, macOS, and iOS. Additionally, it offers an optional feature that allows users to enjoy the VR (virtual reality) experience using cheap VR glasses for smartphones and the game controller for iPhone.
1. MIDITrail supports Standard MIDI File (format 0/1), CoreMIDI, and multiple MIDI ports.
2. Then you can transfer MIDI files using 'File Sharing'.
3. The first way is to connect MIDI interface device and external sound module.
4. You have to transfer MIDI files to your iOS device from Mac or PC.
5. Or you can add MIDI files to MIDITrail using Files App of iOS.

- The app has a good selection of features for recording and editing music.
- The app supports USB MIDI for connecting external devices.
- The app has a built-in synth for creating music.
- Multi-track recordings don't work properly and only play one track.
- The in-app synth doesn't work when adding a soundfont and using MIDI out.
- The app has limited polyphony, which can result in gaps in the sound when reaching maximum polyphony.
I love this app, but two big problems.
