the app Coaster 2 is my favorite rhythm game on the iOS store, and I haven’t found a single one that compares to the fun, immersive, and fairly forgiving gameplay, or even the awesome soundtrack available. I honestly can’t find another game on the app store that, all puns and the first game aside, hits the same notes as the app Coaster 2. One major factor that really sells this game to me is how it handles missed beats. Rather than kicking you out of the game after missing a few notes on a song you’ve never heard/played before, it lets you keep playing AND records a replay of your best run. This is great for players who are new to rhythm games and seasoned veterans alike as it gives you a chance to learn a song without some infuriating trial-and-error sensation. That’s not to say the game is easy, however. There are tracks that I, as a level 190 player who spent countless hours getting Full Chains and S++ ranks, cannot get past an A rank at best. So if you are one of those rhythm game masochists, you can just pay $4.99 for song packs that go up to a difficulty rank of 20. On top of that, the soundtrack you get right out of the box starts a little slow, but gets better as you play and level up. In the store there are hundreds of different tracks available, with three great tracks for free download. Even so, some of the best songs do have a fee attached, but when a massive 30-track pack goes on sale, it’s more than worth forking over some cash.

the app coaster on iOS is one of my favorite rhythm games that I have ever played. The music is enthralling and amazing, the charts are spectacularly designed, the avatars are cool, the game's whole theme is completely innovative, and best of all, you get some great tracks for completely free! However, the app coaster' best content lies in the purchasable packs, where you can find content unmatched in difficulty for all of the rhythm game masochists (like myself) to enjoy. However, this does require some price commitment from you, so I greatly recommend signing up for a taito ID. However, the price is a small penalty when what you get is so good. Songs like Satisfaction, Stronger, DX Choseinou Full Metal Shojo, and literally everything in the touhou and kagerou project sets make this a worthy pickup for any self-respecting rhythm game player

This was my favorite game for so long! Then I don't know what happened, but one day it just wouldn't play the MUSIC. The game called "the app" didn't have any sound. I could still play all the levels, but it was like volume was turned off. So I tried troubleshooting. I found music in settings/options, (music plot type 3) but as soon as I leave options the music is gone again. PLEASE FIX! I love this game so much and NEED to be able to keep playing! *UPDATE* Upon further searching, I have found this bug in most (perhaps all) of my games. I am raising the star rating up to four stars, because the bug IS still here. With that said, I'm out. Bai *SECOND UPDATE* It is true joy when you can play your favorite game, especially after not being able too for a month or so. I have found a way to play! And I am just ecstatic. One of The Best™️ but costly

I’ve been playing this game for a year or so and have played the arcade version. This is by far one of the best rhythm games in the App Store, but I got some serious problems with it and paid dlc. Each set of 4 songs is around 5-6$ which doesn’t seem like a lot but when all of your arcade favorites (looking at you knight of nights) it stacks up pretty fast. Not only that, but the DLC doesn’t have all of the songs compared to the PC port of this game (there’s undertale dlc...UNDERTALE!) When more songs get implemented, either for free or for price, and hopefully cheaper. I’ll give it some stars back.
