BP Companion HD for Pc

Great application BUT very difficult to move your data between devices. I’ve been told you have to use the export then import feature to move between, like my iPhone and iPad. EVERY other of my apps use either iCloud, Dropbox, WiFi,etc to automatically sync an apps’ data. Please fix the flaw so I can give this paid app more stars. If this is NOT fixed I’d lower my rating to two stars only.

the app records are important and they try to coerce you into buying the app by not disclosing a time/data limitation built into the free/ad version. Now I would not buy it no matter how good it appeared. Choose another the app app from an outfit with hopefully more integrity.

I use the term unscrupulous because Maxwell Software doesn't bother to tell you up front that the so called "free" version of this app is really just a demo that times out after 50 entries. By letting you get 50 days into recording your blood pressure you unexpectedly find yourself with unusable "free" software (that includes advertising) after getting yourself pretty invested in this otherwise well crafted app and are now faced with the choice of upgrading to the paid version or starting from scratch with a new the app monitor. Why not call it a demo in the first place rather that calling it free? The app functions well, is well thought out and has excellent export features including PDF. One major complaint is the lack of full screen graphs. The graphing capabilities are otherwise excellent but too tiny to be of practical value. Another niggle is the "ugly" color scheme that is less easy on the eyes or as graphically appealing as other competing apps. Avoid this app if you are looking for a free app (with ads) that you can use indefinitely or just check it out for a brief period knowing it will time out on you. Don't get sucked into keeping a record of your blood pressure that you'll have to abandon after 50 days if you don't like the way it feels to get manipulated into the paid version.

This app is very easy to use. So simple to scroll the previous entry to create the new entry. It only takes a few seconds. The report function is perfect, customizable, so you only have to include the info you need. The note function is great, allows me to enter R or L when I switch arms, or some other pertinent note that will help in later analysis. The notes show concisely on the report and add nothing to the overall length of the report. I have the free app, so I don't know what advantages the more expensive app provides.
